18th Century Dame - Fashion

Today in college we looked back on out 18th Century Theatrical looks.
The aim of today's lesson was to transfer the Theatrical look over to a high fashion look.

Keeping with the 18th Century theme I chose to keep thepale skin and pink cheeks, the red lips, the defined brows, and the beauty mark.

I started off by slightly paling my models skin, to do this I used HD-204 Ultra Beige from my Ben Nye Media Pro HD palette.

I then added a layer of Transluscent Powder to set the foundation.

Next I started on the eyes, I wanted these to be quite natural, so using my Ben Nye Pressed Colour Palette, I applied a base to the eyes in shade ER-302 Vanilla, I then blended ER-36 Smokey Taupe from the outer corners and across. I then decided that I wanted the outer corners darker so I blended a little ER-56 Espresso in towards the inner corner. I applied these shadows with Urban Decay's double-ended Good Karma Shadow and Crease Brush.

I then applied a this layer of mascara to my models eyelashes.

Next, using a small firm angled brush, I applied ER-99 Black from my Ben Nye Pressed Powder Palette to my models eyebrows to further define them. I did this to stick with the 18th Century theme.

Next I did the cheeks, I wanted to stick to the 18th Century theme with these without making them too garish. I used my Ben Nye Pressed Powder Palette again for this - shade DDR-21 Dusty Pink. I did this using my C106 Unique Pointed Dome by Crown Brushes.

The next thing that I did was add the beauty mark. I did this using Ben Nye Media Pro HD Eye Definer and a C250-0 Mini Liner brush by Crown Brushes.

My final step was the lips. I did these using my Ben Nye FDB-71 brush and RLS-33 Marilyn Red from my Ben Nye Lip Colour Palette.
